Football Recap: Primero Bulldogs vs. Sierra Grande Panthers        
        
		
             It was fun while it lasted, but Primero's undefeated season came to an end after  five games  on Friday. They took  a  54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sierra Grande Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Saturday (36), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.
 Primero's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Brett Kendall, who threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns, and  Gabe Sintas, who picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Sintas was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 60 yards.
 Primero wouldn't let Sierra Grande keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Primero can thank  Kevin Acuna and  Ralsten LePlatt for forcing both of them.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Primero  fell to 5-1. As for Sierra Grande, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
 Primero will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Antonito at 1:00  p.m.  on October 19th. As for Sierra Grande,  a feisty cat fight will be fought when  Panthers challenges Branson/Kim at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Their defense has only allowed 9.7  points per game  this season, so Sierra Grande's offense will have their work cut out for them.
