Baseball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-3 to the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Triton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Wilson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Terry Sanford, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Triton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against South Central on the 6th. As for Terry Sanford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Overhills on the 1st.
