Baseball Recap: Brush Takes a Loss

Brush and Rocky River squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Brush had to settle for second. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Brush saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Geofferson Betts, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Brush has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Rocky River, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Brush nor Rocky River have any future games scheduled.
