Colton has gone 8-2 against Pomeroy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Colton Wildcats will face off against the Pomeroy Pirates at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Colton ended up a good deal behind Deary and lost 49-34. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 15 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pomeroy). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-16 victory over St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse. The Pirates pushed the score to 46-14 by the end of the third, a deficit St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse had no chance of recovering from.

Pomeroy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Colton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Colton was able to grind out a solid victory over Pomeroy in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 38-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
