Randleman had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Trinity Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Randleman's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Trinity, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

Coming up, Randleman will face off against Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity, they will square off against Eastern Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
