Humboldt won the last time they faced Jayhawk Linn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Humboldt Cubs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 68-38 victory over the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Humboldt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colden Cook, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 21 points and six boards. Cook is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Franklin, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Humboldt's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Jayhawk Linn, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
