Football Recap: Hardeeville Starts Season with Victory Against Bethune-Bowman + How To Watch

Hardeeville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 43-32 victory over the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks. That's more bragging rights for the Canes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Mohawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaedon Bell, who threw for 363 yards and four touchdowns. Bethune-Bowman's leading receiver Maurice Dawson was Bell's top target yet again, picking up 125 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Hardeeville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 40-20 defeat against Whale Branch on the 29th. As for Bethune-Bowman, they have also already played their next game, a 28-0 loss against Eau Claire on the 29th.
