            The Anthony Wayne Generals will square off against the Minster Wildcats at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Minster will be up against a hot Anthony Wayne  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Generals never let Southview get on the board and left with  a   17-0  victory  on Wednesday. The Generals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Minster made easy work of Coldwater  on Tuesday and carried off  a  10-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.
 Brooklyn Osterloh made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Addi Inskeep was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. She is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Rylin Trego, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  triple.
 Minster  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .548. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  contests.
 Anthony Wayne's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 20-4. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Minster, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
