Basketball Recap: Kennewick Takes Down Ridgeline in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kennewick walked away with it. They came out on top against the Ridgeline Falcons by a score of 52-44 on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgeline lost, don't look at Madilyn Crowley. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Crowley has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Myers, who scored 11 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds.

Kennewick's record now sits at 17-5. As for Ridgeline, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4.

Coming up, Kennewick will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Central Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Ridgeline, they will welcome University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season.
