Football Recap: Salmon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Salmon lost against Firth back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Savages were outmatched by the Cougars and fell 36-6. The Savages have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant Vasquez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Firth, rushing for 205 yards and three scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 82 receiving yards and one touchdown. Vasquez's longest reception was for an incredible 82 yards.

Salmon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Firth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salmon will take on rival West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Firth is set to face off against their familiar foe North Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Vasquez and Andrew Martin.
