Basketball Recap: Dasia Smith and Nyanbuot Woul Makec Secure Win for Christ Chapel Academy

Christ Chapel Academy won the last time they faced Immanuel Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. Christ Chapel Academy took down the Immanuel Christian Warriors 39-22.

Leading Christ Chapel Academy to victory were Nyanbuot Woul Makec and Dasia Smith. Woul Makec went 7 of 13 on her way to 16 points, while Smith posted ten points. What's more, Smith also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Zaria Gaskins, who had four points and five assists.

Christ Chapel Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Immanuel Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
