Basketball Recap: Holy Redeemer Takes a Loss

Holy Redeemer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 81-44 defeat at the hands of the Heritage Christian Patriots.

Heritage Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eddie Riebe, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Riebe a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Draeger, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 17 points.

Holy Redeemer's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Heritage Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Holy Redeemer and Obama Career & Tech/Young Coggs will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Christian, they will head out to face off against Madison West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Madison West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
