Ziyon Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Uzziah Marlowe, who posted 16 points and six assists.
Southeastern Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Scotland Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season last Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 92-78 bruising from Living Water Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (73), the Saints still had to take the loss.
Southeastern Christian Academy will have to keep a close watch on Frankie McIntyre and Jeffrey St Onge, a pair of players who had a big impact on Scotland Christian Academy's prior game. McIntyre dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards, while St Onge almost dropped a triple-double on 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. With that strong performance, McIntyre is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Kadin Bryson was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Southeastern Christian Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 57.8 points per game. However, it's not like Scotland Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 59.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Southeastern Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Scotland Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 80-69. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeastern Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
