            Softball Recap: Haskell Indians vs. West Texas Comanches        
        
		
        
        
            With a playoff win on the line, Haskell rose to the challenge  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  28-1 margin over the West Texas Comanches. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won nine matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Paige Sheets made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 5-for-5 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Brynlee Stocks was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Kayce Coleman was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI.
 Haskell  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 25  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 4.6  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 13.
