Softball Recap: Shippensburg Greyhounds vs. Big Spring Bulldogs
After flying high against West Perry last Tuesday, Shippensburg came back down to earth. The Shippensburg Greyhounds lost 10-1 to the Big Spring Bulldogs on Thursday. Shippensburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Big Spring apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on April 6th.
Shelby Heberlig was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-2 with a triple and a run.
Shippensburg's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Big Spring, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing James Buchanan the next time they take the field. Shippensburg will head out to face James Buchanan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Big Spring will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
