Baseball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Comes Up Short

If Thomas Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Richmond High School for the Arts last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings came up short against the Hermitage Panthers on Tuesday, falling 15-1. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Hermitage, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Thomas Jefferson is set to take on their familiar foe John Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hermitage will square off against rival J.R. Tucker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
