It was a good run, but Holcomb unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Risco Tigers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Holcomb's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Risco, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holcomb will face off against Bernie at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Risco, they will venture away from home to square off against Neelyville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
