Recap: Cedar Hill vs. Skyline
The Cedar Hill Longhorns can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They never let Skyline onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The victory was just what Cedar Hill needed coming off of a 11-0 defeat in their prior matchup.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Neyomi Garcia, which was the first she's scored this season.
Cedar Hill's win bumped their record up to 2-8-2. As for Skyline, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season.
Cedar Hill will head out on the road to challenge DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Hill's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Skyline, they will be playing at home against Duncanville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Duncanville will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Skyline surely won't give up without a fight.
