Volleyball Game Preview: Bethlehem Center Bulldogs vs. Waynesburg Central Raiders

Bethlehem Center is 1-7 against Waynesburg Central since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Bethlehem Center is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Bethlehem Center got the win against Jefferson-Morgan by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central earned a 3-1 win over Brownsville on Thursday.

Waynesburg Central was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15.

Bethlehem Center better keep an eye on Lelia McCollum. She was instrumental in Waynesburg Central's win, getting 11 digs and three aces. What's more, McCollum posted three assists, the most she's had over her last six contests. Emma Blair also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Waynesburg Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 30 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Waynesburg Central's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Bethlehem Center, their win bumped their record up to 12-1-1.
