Soccer Recap: Head-Royce Victorious

Head-Royce kept a clean sheet against Cristo Rey on Friday. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0. Head-Royce's winning goal came courtesy of Kyle Chan.

Head-Royce was without their leading scorer, Jefferey Cao, in Friday's match. With Cao sidelined, Edom Lenie got his first action of the season.

Head-Royce's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Head-Royce will face off against Sonoma Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cristo Rey, they will square off against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cristo Rey's defense better be ready for this one: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
