Game recap: South Pointe High School Football Team defeats Lancaster

ROCK HILL, S.C. - South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 14 fourth quarter points to seal the 35-13 victory over Lancaster (S.C.).

The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at seven. The Stallions took the lead for good on a touchdown run by Devin Pearson with 11:00 to go in the third quarter.

Pearson stood out for South Pointe in the win. He ran for two touchdowns.

SP had given up an average of 11.3 points prior to the contest.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Rock Hill school, which lost to York last week, 31-17.
