Volleyball Recap: Beverly Hills Takes a Loss

Beverly Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Normans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matt Divinagracia led the charge by getting four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Divinagracia a new career-high. Tyler Evans also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Beverly Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Beverly Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Van Nuys on the 8th. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cleveland on the 8th.
