Softball Recap: Inderkum Comes Up Short

Inderkum blew Franklin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Franklin got their revenge. The Inderkum Tigers fell just short of the Franklin Wildcats by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Inderkum got a big performance out of Anyssa Luttig, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ambrosia Estacio, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Inderkum's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Franklin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Inderkum has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Granite Bay on the 5th. As for Franklin, they will square off against Rocklin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Rocklin will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight.
