On Tuesday Ethan Thompson didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over 6.2 innings pitched. The effort marked the most strikeouts Thompson has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his eighth in a row with more than five strikeouts.
