Softball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Loss

Wausau West fell victim to D.C. Everest and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Evergreens, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Evergreens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

Wausau West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for D.C. Everest, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-2.

Looking ahead, Wausau West will head out to take on Mosinee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. D.C. Everest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
