Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Triton Central Tigers
After soaring to 48 points the game before, The Clarksville Generals were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 41-6 defeat at the hands of Triton Central. Clarksville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.
Triton Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jace Stuckey, who rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ray Crawford, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Triton Central, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Triton Central will be playing at home against Brownstown Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brownstown Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
