Basketball Recap: Lifestyle Christian Comes Up Short

Lifestyle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Faith Academy Knights. The Victors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 65-59.

When it comes to explaining why Lifestyle Christian lost, don't look at Aric Musterman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Lifestyle Christian is 5-2 when Musterman posts eight or more rebounds, but 4-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Isaac Nunez, who posted five points along with five boards and five steals.

Lifestyle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Faith Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Lifestyle Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-35 defeat against Covenant Academy on the 7th. Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
