Softball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside entered their game against Lancaster on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions lost 13-2 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since March 20th.

Bethanie Jimenez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Eastside suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-6-1. As for Lancaster, their record now sits at 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will host Highland at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lancaster, they will be playing at home against Littlerock at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
