Volleyball Recap: Marshall Academy Comes Up Short

Marshall Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Barry County Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Griffons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Marshall Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Barry County Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Marshall Academy will host Battle Creek Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barry County Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Tournament Opponent on the 27th.
