Basketball Game Preview: Bonita Bearcats vs. Workman Lobos

The Bonita Bearcats and the Workman Lobos will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bonita is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 74-69 victory over Claremont on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bearcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Workman entered their tilt with Ganesha on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-27 victory over the Giants. Given the Lobos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Giants are ranked 1443rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bonita's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-12. As for Workman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.
