Itasca won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Friday too. The Itasca Wampus Cats enjoyed a cozy 37-22 victory over the Meridian Yellowjackets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wampus Cats.

Itasca has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for Meridian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Itasca will square off against Crawford at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th. Crawford will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Itasca surely won't give up without a fight. As for Meridian, they will welcome Meyer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meridian is facing Meyer at the right time seeing as Meyer is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
