Basketball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

Mojave suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2024 on Monday. They were outmatched by the Lone Pine Golden Eagles and fell 68-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-22 back in December of 2024.

Lone Pine got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cristian Duran out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Adrian Hernandez, who put up 14 points.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lone Pine, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Mojave wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-24 win against Immanuel Christian on the 5th. Lone Pine has also already played their next game, an 81-29 victory against Baker on the 5th.
