It was a good run, but Holliday unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paradise Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 538th, while the Panthers are ranked 132nd).

Holliday's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Paradise, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holliday will head out to take on Nocona at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Paradise, they are taking a road trip to square off against Iowa Park at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th.
