 Sadly, Purchase Line is still looking for their first win of the season after eight  games. They fell victim to a  rough 16-1 loss at the hands of the Conemaugh Township Indians  on Tuesday.
  Austin Chambers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 On Conemaugh Township's side,  Luke Weber made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Weber was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Conemaugh Township got a  massive  performance out of  Kaden Valentine, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  DJ Bambino was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Purchase Line's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Conemaugh Township, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-1.
 Purchase Line will take on Penns Manor at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Penns Manor will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last. As for Conemaugh Township, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Marion Center at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
