Softball Recap: McGehee Takes a Loss

McGehee managed to slip by Crossett the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls came up short against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 20-10. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

McGehee is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3. As for Crossett, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, McGehee will venture away from home to take on Dumas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Owls are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Crossett, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Warren at 5:00 p.m.
