Texas Lions HomeSchool came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Brentwood Christian Bears with a 57-51 victory. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Bears are ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Texas Lions HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Clark out in front who went 8 for 17 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karsen Ramsey, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
