Baseball Recap: Dixon Comes Up Short

Dixon lost against Destiny Christian Academy last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Dixon fell just short of Destiny Christian Academy by a score of 4-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kai Mulitsch-Reynolds was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Isacc Santos also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Destiny Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dixon is set to take on their familiar foe Casa Roble at 4:15 p.m. on April 7. Meanwhile, Destiny Christian Academy will challenge rival El Camino at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
