Baseball Recap: Addison Extends Winning Streak to Four

Addison came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hornell Red Raiders 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since May 14, 2024.

Zane Specht was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Tyler Miller was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Addison pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Hornell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

As of now, neither Addison nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
