Football Recap: The Meadows School Falls to Army-Navy in First Game of Season + How To Watch

The Meadows School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Army-Navy Warriors on Friday, falling 49-22. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 54th in Nevada, while the Warriors are ranked 523rd in California).

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jude Cutler, who picked up 117 receiving yards and one TD. Cameron Pereira was another key player, having thrown for 266 yards and three touchdowns.

Coming up, The Meadows School will head out to take on Tri-City Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Army-Navy, they will be playing at home against Castle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
