Softball Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Covington duked it out with Thibodaux on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Thibodaux, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Covington will venture away from home to square off against Mandeville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thibodaux, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 victory against Hanson Memorial on the 21st.
