Soccer Game Preview: Classical Academy vs. Poway

The Classical Academy Caimans will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Poway Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Classical Academy is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Fallbrook on Tuesday. The Caimans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The loss was Classical Academy's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Poway fell victim to Westview and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. That's two games in a row now that Poway have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Poway and nudges their season record down to 0-2-2. As for Classical Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-3.
