Volleyball Recap: Jackson County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Jackson County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the North Forsyth Raiders on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Jackson County was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.

Coincidentally, Jackson County and North Forsyth will both be playing Oconee County the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
