Soccer Game Preview: Chatham vs. Greenville

Chatham is 0-9-1 against Greenville since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Chatham didn't have quite enough to beat Bolton Central and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Greenville had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Greenville's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Isaac McAneny, who's now up to two this season.

Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Chatham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
