Henderson Collegiate has gone a perfect 3-0 against River Mill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Pride are taking a road trip to square off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Henderson Collegiate and 15 for River Mill dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Henderson Collegiate lost to Vance County on the road by a 49-31 margin.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when River Mill took on Eno River Academy on Monday. The Jaguars fell 52-40 to the Bobcats.

Henderson Collegiate will need to focus on slowing down David Wood, one of several River Mill players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 13 points. Blake Lutterloh was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Henderson Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for River Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Henderson Collegiate against River Mill in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, as the squad secured an 87-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pride since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
