Baseball Game Preview: Avon Lake Shoremen vs. Midview Middies

For the second straight game, Avon Lake will face off against Midview. The Shoremen will head out on the road to square off against the Middies at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Avon Lake took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Midview, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Shoremen narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Middies 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Shoremen have posted since April 24, 2024.

Blake Andresen looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
