After a string of four wins, Everman's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Godley Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Everman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Godley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

Everman will face off against Burleson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Godley, they will square off against Mineral Wells at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Mineral Wells 1.2, Godley 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
