Soccer Recap: Decatur Takes a Loss

Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Athens Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Athens this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in March.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Athens, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Decatur will welcome Priceville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will host East Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
