Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patrick Henry). They were the clear victors by a 61-38 margin over the John Battle Trojans on Friday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Defeat or not, John Battle got some senior leadership from Caden Sturgill and Marshall Green. Sturgill threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns, while Green rushed for 92 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for John Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Patrick Henry will head out to challenge Rural Retreat at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for John Battle, they will host Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
