Basketball Game Preview: Lund Mustangs vs. McDermitt Bulldogs

The Lund Mustangs will square off against the McDermitt Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lund hasn't scored more than 29 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Lund's tournament run continued when they took on Amplus Academy two weeks ago. Lund lost 43-20 to Amplus Academy.

Meanwhile, McDermitt opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-36 defeat to Eureka. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lund's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for McDermitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Lund against McDermitt when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 59-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lund since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
