Football Game Preview: Jellico Blue Devils vs. Unaka Rangers + How To Watch

The Jellico Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Unaka Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Jellico and 12 for Unaka dating back to last season.

On Friday, Jellico was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 19-14 to North Greene.

Meanwhile, Unaka scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 74-22 defeat at the hands of Hampton.

Despite the loss, Unaka saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ashton Fuller picked up 127 receiving yards and two scores. Fuller was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 62 yards.

Jellico's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Unaka, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Jellico strolled past Unaka in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 42-24. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
